Dead and Buried wird von Oculus kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt und soll ein wichtiger Multiplayer-Titel für die Oculus Touch Controller werden. Im Spiel befindet ihr euch in einer Geisterstadt und tretet gegen Freunde und Fremde an oder spielt gemeinsam gegen die Untoten.
Dead and Buried mit Oculus Touch
Als wir das Spiel starteten, mussten wir zunächst eine Waffe aufnehmen, welche uns bereits ins Staunen versetzt hat. Die Waffe ist so schön gestaltet und mit Spinnenfäden verziert, die sich natürlich mit der Waffe mitbewegen. Die rostige Waffe dient auch als Eingabegerät im Menü. Hier habt ihr die Auswahl zwischen einem Schuss-Training, einem klassischen Duell (wer zieht und trifft schneller), einem Modus in dem ihr gegen einen anderen Spieler in diversen Locations antreten könnt und diverse Gegenstände und Verstecke nutzen könnt, einem kooperativen Modus, bei dem ihr mit anderen Menschen gegen die Untoten antretet und einem Modus, bei dem Gut gegen Böse kämpft und man jede Runde einen Schritt zum Ziel der Guten macht oder einen Schritt zum Ziel der Bösen. Alle Multiplayer-Modi könnt ihr mit bis zu 4 Mitspielern spielen.
Multiplayer Spaß auf höchstem Niveau?
Das Schusstraining ist recht langweilig und ihr schießt auf diverse Ziele. Das Spiel bietet zwar auch eine Rangliste, aber viel Spannung kommt bei diesem Modus nicht auf. Auch das Duell, bei dem ihr auf einer freien Fläche steht und zeigen müsst, dass ihr schneller zieht als euer Schatten, ist irgendwie noch nicht wirklich unterhaltsam. Die drei anderen Modi konnten uns aber wirklich überzeugen.
Das klassische Deathmatch lebt davon, dass ihr eure Verstecke gut nutzt und die Waffen verwendet, die sich manchmal in der Nähe eurer Verstecke befinden. Immer wenn ihr sterbt, wechselt ihr zu einer neuen Position im Raum. Eigenständig könnt ihr euch nicht fortbewegen und ihr bleibt immer an einer Stelle, bis ihr euer Leben verliert. Durch die verschiedenen Waffen ist dieser Modus sehr dynamisch und auch wenn ihr weit hinten liegt, habt ihr immer noch eine Chance zum Aufholen. Wir haben aber zwei kleine Kritikpunkte an dem Modus. Zum einen kam uns das Scharfschützen-Gewehr im Test viel zu stark vor. Ein Treffer reicht und der Gegner ist tot und das Nachladen geht viel zu schnell, da ihr einige Patronen in der Waffe habt und nicht bei jedem Schuss nachladen müsst. Zum anderen fühlt sich das Werfen der Dynamit-Stangen nicht wirklich echt an. Diese lassen sich viel zu leicht viel zu weit werfen und dadurch konnten wir unser Ziel nur mit viel Übung treffen.
